Welcome 2009, the year of action - of movement! Although the energies of the year truly move in towards the end of January (around the time of the inauguration of your new leader), you will feel (and see) some of the effects beginning on January 1st. So welcome this year of activity - in your heart and mind and in the world at large. It's a (in some ways) chaotic time, it's a powerful time, and (in the long run) it's a wondrous time, for the Age of Balance is truly entering into physical manifestation. Your new life can begin. Because this is a year of Power and Activity, the (energy) year begins with a bang. Some people will be making big changes - in relationships, in their way of life, and (for those in power) in the "way things are done." Others (in the minority) will be resisting those changes in a big way - wanting to keep things the same (and, of course, this won't work). Whichever side you find yourself on, the one constant is this: No one can "stand still." You will either be buffeted by the forces of change or you will move with them. You cannot ignore them.
